Recognizing the significance of what Jesus did on the cross has changed my life a great deal. The story of Jesus’ victory by dying and resurrecting in the bible – for a person who search – is like digging for gold and the more deeper you search, the more gold you find. The more gold you find, the more wealthier you become. The more wealthier you become, the more victory you record.
It’s such a relief to know that we don’t have to pay back for what He did and yet enjoy so much benefits because we cannot pay back. Where do you want to start from? Is it the fact that He was found with no sin whatsoever yet became sin for you and I? Or that he has the key to life and death and has freely given it to us? (I’m talking too much).
He meant it when He said He has overcome the world and thanks be to God who gives us victory through Christ Jesus (1 Corinthians 15:57), now we that have been in bondage and fear of death all our life can be free from such bondage. (I’m talking whatsoever death and bondage represent [Hebrews 2:14-15]). This victory we obtain because we reference and share in what He did on the cross by partaking in the eating of the sacred flesh and drinking of the sacred blood.
There is victory embedded in the blood that was shed on the cross and it is an all encompassing victory. It was relevant 2000 years ago (and still counting), it is still relevant today. It was relevant in heaven (Revelation 12:11), how much more will it be relevant here on earth. Identify which of the fold you need and start pleading the blood to victory. You might as well claim the 7 folds!
