Abuja based Gospel singer Omenesa Pearls escaped what could have been a fatal accident when she fell into a ditch that could have killed her save for the help of a good Samanthan she described as an “angel.” She shared the testimony with SelahAfrik and her social media loyalists.
According to Omenesa, the Holy Spirit had prompted her to pray at different intervals with various revelations of the future event. She had called her husband to pray with her with particular prayer points for “organs” as revealed by the Spirit.
Omenesa did not go into the details of how she ended up falling into a ditch but she “found [herself] hanging in a ditch… with snakes and algae.”
Omenesa said “I screamed in pain. My chest and side ribs were bleeding, and my cry, “Help Me” sounded so distant, as a stranger ran and LIFTED me up. As I looked into that pit, there were no stairs, or bars. I was literally holding onto the hands of Angels.”

She lost her phone in the fall but she was glad it was her phone and not herself that was lost. “This will be about the 6th attempt this year that the enemy has fought my life and recognition. This will be the 3rd phone I’m replacing this year! My assignment is connected to my outreach, and the enemy does not like that.” Omenesa said.
She plans to release a new single but also said all she knows about the single at present is its title.
“When I got out of that pit, I was convinced that the title of my single is “LIFTED”. God LIFTED me out of this one, AGAIN! He will LIFT YOU UP TOO!”
With the wounds on her chest and her sprained back, she sang the National Anthem at the Live Life Loud Concert which featured Sho Baraka and S.O although she had to run off to take injections and xrays.
Despite all that has happened, Omenesa will be in Lagos on the 21st through the 22nd of March, 2014 for the Positive Youth Conference tagged Fulfilling Your Purpose at FFBC 17 Kosoko Road, Ojodu by 5pm. Ministering alongside Omenesa will be Hadunni, Marvins, Dbass, Eteye, Dare Justified and Omoniyi Joseph Akomolafe(El-gibbor) as host.
Omenesa C Akomolafe (Daughter of Bishop Ben & Joy Oruma) is a Prolific Gospel Singer, Preacher, Avid Writer and an Entrepreneur. She was a Semi Finalist on Gospel Dream, and has participated in the US Gospel ttalent hunt show, Sunday Best and American Idol as well. Omenesa tours all over Nigeria and the United States and has a great passion for her music. She is pursuing her music career and is allowing God to prune her for the pulpit ministry. She hopes to be a Senior Pastor one day and follow in her parents footsteps. Expect her new single “Lifted” soon.
