I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains [just one grain; it never becomes more but lives] by itself alone. But if it dies, it produces many others and yields a rich harvest.” – John 12:24
I am a Christian, I accepted the gospel like a baby but realized I had to grow. Just like a pebble at the seashore, the waves roughed me up and while I was getting roughed up my rough edges got smoother. I realized that the storm was not meant to keep me down but to build me up.
The way up is down – I don’t know if you have ever come across that saying but the bible clearly stated that except a seed dies, it cannot live to productivity. This is similar to the life of a Christian. First you die to sin and accept Christ, then you have to die daily to grow to maturity and then to show forth God’s glory.
Test and trials, challenges of life will come but it’s like playing a movie you already watched before, you know what will happen in the end. He who faints in the day of trial is of little strenght; says the bible.
No one knows the address of the greatest battle you will face as a Christian but no matter where the storm hits from, one thing is sure, it’s not meant to pull you down but to build you up. Rejoice! Chant for victory! Christ already won for you!
