Wow! Beautiful people it’s been a year already! although we are 2 days late from the time the first edition of this post came out. Anyways, better late than never! I have been waiting patiently all year long, watching with groping eyes as our female Gospel personalities came out in style and glamour. While there were several moments of ‘Oohs’, there were also few moments of ‘Oops!’ I would love to talk about the ‘Oops’ as well but Alex won’t let me. LoL!
Therefore let’s get into it! Some of those who have stunned us this year include:
Onos is one of the few that killed it at every appearance this year. My God! From red carpet, interviews to performances, her blend of anointing and style never seizes to take away one’s breathe. She has worked with Kiki Kamanu, Byge Collections in the past but extended her tentacles more this year. Her Sequin Chiffon Maxi dress which she for the Experience 2014 stood out for me but trust me, Onos had it coming for a very long time.
By the way, Sophiya just got married… Yay! If you think I don’t know what I am talking about where Sophiya’s fashion is concerned then you haven’t been catching up on Dedications nor have you been following her on Instagram! Sophiya didn’t do much in the dropping singles department this year but she sure did a lot to get others’ music out there. Not only that, we also had a chance to keep tab on her fashion style which is Chic and classy! And her shoes… oh my!
OMG Gogo! One word. Fashionista!!! Gogo is a vocal coach who had the oppurtunity to train some of Nigeria’s greats and not only that, she dropped the ever green worship single “Almighty God” some few years back. These days however, she is more known for her label GM4FM
Ada’s style is daring! She’s bold and fearless, a little Gothic and tomboyish every now and then. Ada can wrap a cloth from her head to her toe and still make it work. She was spotted at the airport with Joepraize looking like a rainbow with colourful spectacles and a pyjamas pants and still made it work. My encore moment was when she was in London and rocked a little black green dress… so girly, so cute!
Maryland based-Nigerian Gospel singer Anu made this list last year and she is still repping 2 years in a row! Way to go Anu! Anu is not only about the clothes and accessories, even her makeup and hair is always on point.
Last year, we needed you to help us decide who gets the number one spot although we have already selected our Top 5. We will like to give our readers the opportunity to decide their 5 Most Fashionable Female Gospel personalities this year and we will leave the polls open till the 28th of December when we will announce what you have decided. The list is inexhaustible but we have input as much names as we can and given the option for you to include your choice if not on the list.
…Most Fashionable Male coming up!!
