Urban Gospel music icon Kirk Frankllin who recently released his 9th studio album “Losing my Religion” has entered into the studio with rapper Kanye West and it appears the Gospel artiste will be featuring on Kanye’s new album “Waves”.
There’s been no words yet whether Kirk Franklin will be featuring on the vocals or instrument but with P.Diddy, Andre3000 and Kid Cudi in the company, there’s no telling what to expect.
Kirk Franklin is amongst the few Gospel artistes who have successfully broken into the mainstream market and have other artistes in the secular call upon their expertise for a feature.
It comes as no huge surprise that Franklin will oblige such call, Kaye West hinted that the album is going to be sort of a Gospel album (we all know this is not in the traditional sense of Gospel music). He further captioned one of the studio session pictures as “God’s messenger” and with an album titled “Losing my Religion”, Kirk Franklin sure isn’t your everyday religious fella.
