psalmos, most excellencyAfter a brief hiatus since the release of ‘Emmanuel’ an 18-track album consisting of popular songs ‘Orin tun tun’ and ‘Chairman’ both produced by Dekunle OniyoPsalmos has not stopped recording, with many songs ready to be released.

Here is a taste of what she has been working on,  a brand new single titled ‘Most Excellency’ featuring UK based talented artist Femi Temowo, produced by super talent, Dekunle Oniyo.

According to Psalmos: “the song is a declaration of the greatest of all times, no other than ‘JESUS’. A reflection of what He has done and will do in our lives now and in time to come.”

ABOUT PSALMOS

Spreading the gospel and reaching out to lost souls is the most vital part of living a Christ like life. It can be done through writing, dancing,singing or through any other means of Communication. For Psalmos hers is through her voice – singing.

Mobolaji Olayinka popularly known as Psalmos is an international female gospel artiste from the shores of Nigeria in West Africa.

Psalmos just has her name implies- “instrument of worship”, has with her passion for music and love for the gospel of Christ created songs of inspiration, worship, and praise over the years.

She was born into the family of Mr Olabanji and late Mrs Modupe Adeseko on October 31st 1981 in which she became the last born of the six children by her mother.

As a child she attended community primary school and later as a teenager she attended community secondary school Growing up She attended the University of Ado Ekiti and got a  Diploma in banking and finance. Thereafter, she got employed into Reliance bank limited and worked  for 3 years after which she later attended Lagos state university and studied IRPM (Industrial relations and personnel management).

Her grace story into music started when she was a member of CLAM choir, a ministry by apostle Wole Oladiyun. At this place of Zion was where she rededicated her life to God, she got the vision of being an instrument of worship fulfilling her God given destiny by changing lives through music.

She is a loving mother and devoted wife. She is married to her producer Dekunle Olayinka and blessed with a son.

She is a lover of the Nigerian culture and language little wonder her first singles – HE GOOD and KU’SE were produced in Yoruba, her dialect. This love however has reflected in her other songs.

Her first album is a 12 track album titled Expression of his goodness.

She has worked alongside wonderful international artistes like Big B, Beejay Sax, Eben, Kelechi, Femi Temowo, Kore and her husband. Her album produced recently is an 18-track an album which made her gain the Artist of the year 2015 and Album of the year 2015 by the MEGA awards. In the past she also has been nominated for the 2012 AGMA award in London and Scepter award in 2012.

Psalmos loves dancing, cooking and fashion.
