– Pastor places curse on Big Brother Naija
– Uti Nwachukwu reacts
utiBig Brother Africa season 5 winner Uti Nwanchukwu has called out a Port Harcourt based pastor and president of Dominion Glory Assembly,  Mike Winning who placed a curse on the sponsors of Big Brother Nigeria (BBN).

The pastor posted this on his Facebook page in the new Facebook bold text style. He has since deleted the post.

In series of tweets, Uti Uwanchukwu expressed his anger saying:

“Religion has become a disgraceful divider of brethren. A pastor would open his mouth and lay curses?! What is wrong with Nigeria sef?!!

“Where in the Bible did Jesus Lay a curse on any human being or their resources?!It was only the fight tree and that was to illustrate faith!

“Aren’t Christians supposed to be Christ like?! Aren’t pastors supposed to lead Christians to be Christ like?!!! U have mouth to curse pple .

“That have changed the lives of others.but u can’t publicly curse those that fund terrorism? Those that caused recession? SHAME! *spits*”

Uti has received a lot of backlash from those who supports the pastor’s action and the usually calm TV host and actor went ahead to give reply to some of the backlash saying his career is a good example of the purpose of the Big Brother concept.

Whether the pastor or Uti’s action is justified is not the question. The pastor could have prayed instead of curse… just like the bible says, Uti on the other hand could also reference God’s anointed without question just like David did to Saul.

The real question is how does this turn of event affect your stand point either for or against the concept of Big Brother. Also, what will you do to make a difference? Something funny about the World War is that peace treaties had to put an end to the violence. Doesn’t that say something about clash of opinions?
