Still reeling off the success of her first album in 9 years, Iconic Gospel music singer CeCe Winans is being honored with a day of her very own in Valdosta, Georgia.
She announced the news to her more than 92,000 fans on social media, thanking Valdosta Councilwoman Vivian Cody, among others, for honoring her with a key to the city and naming Feb. 23 “CeCe Winans Day.”
The gospel singer then said via her instagram page “Thank you Shalonda Harris for inviting me to the city of Valdosta last night. Thank you City Councilwoman Vivian Cody and May Gail for the key to the city, the city proclamation and for recognizing Feb. 23 as ‘CeCe Winans Day’ in Valdosta, Georgia,”.
