Knoxville worship leader Chris Blue who earlier stated that God led him to ‘The Voice’ did his cover of “24K Magic” by Bruno Mars at the competition.
The 27 year-old performed an emotional rendition of the Percy Sledge song last week, “When A Man Loves A Woman,” which he dedicated to his fiancee who has been battling bone marrow cancer. He did justice to another song and this time around, it’s Bruno Mars’ “24k Magic”.
After his performance “Voice” coaches Alicia Keys and Blake Shelton described him has been ‘unstoppable’ .
“I’m just like flying through the sky right now,” Keys said, she then added that “I didn’t even know you had this in you. You just showed me and the rest of America that you are unstoppable,”
While Blake Shelton said “First of all I think you’re going to be in the finale, There was a time in this show (where) if somebody couldn’t recognize how talented you are, they must be deaf, but now I think they must be deaf and blind to not see how talented you are,”
Cokesbury United Methodist Church, The church which Chris Blue attends has been very supportive, as they even went as far has urging people to vote for him via their official Facebook page.
