Beyonce Teams Up With Childhood Pastor To Help Victims Of Houston Floods

American singer who was born and raised in Houston, Texas, Beyonce Knowles-Carter has teamed up with childhood pastor Rudy Rasmus to help provide relief materials for those affect by Hurricane Harvey.

The Houston born artist promise to always remember the flood victims in prayers as she collaborates with St. John’s United Methodist Church pastor, Rudy Rasmus to provide relief materials and money.

“My heart goes out to my hometown, Houston, and I remain in constant prayer for those affected and for the rescuers who have been so brave and determined to do so much to help, I am working closely with my team at BeyGOOD as well as my pastor to implement a plan to help as many as we can,” she says.

According to her pastor, Beyonce has contributed immensely to the relief work but she’s not naming the amount or putting any fanfare to it. According to TMZ, the pastor said she’s already given $7 million, despite Kevin Hart‘s attack calling herself and Jayz out to donate $25K. The pastor added that one should not expect the R&B artiste to confirm it.
