Bible News: Man Cannot Be Greater Than What He Says

“Keep thy heart with all diligence- for out of it are the issues of life.” – Proverbs 4:23

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he” – Proverbs 23:7
A man can never be greater than what he says. Words are so important that you may assume that just because you are a Christian and you go to church. Amongst the workers and all, but until the day that you confess Romans 10:9-10, all you have been doing is playing religion.

Words are so important that The Word was with God since the beginning. The Word is so important that The Word is God!

If you say you will succeed, you will succeed. If you say you will fail, You are right as well. I can’t stress the importance of the words we speak enough.

For you to put a word on your lips, you must believe. For you to believe you must know and for you to know, you must have thought. If you think about it, and form a thought about it, the product of the thought is what you believe and what you believe is what you speak.

So I can be saying to you all your life that you are a King, but if the words do not form a thought in you, you cannot believe it. If you do not believe it, you will never confess it. If one does not confess, one cannot become.

This is why we can be in church, raise up Holy hands, shout and declare but as soon as we step outside, someone is depressed again… Because all we did in church has not formed a thought that will form a believe. If the believe does not change, then the confession will not change too!

After I have encouraged people I counsel, I often tell them there is a limit to the help I can offer. The words I speak to you are true but until you believe it and change your confession, you cannot change your life. Therefore if you change your thoughts, you can change your life.

Even God has to think good thoughts about us so He can bring us to our expected end. (Jer 29:11). Because you have to create whatever you want to see on the outward first in your mind. As you create and see the picture on the inside, that’s what you put on your lips and declare.

Everyone called Jabez an “unfortunate child” from birth, but he didn’t think he was unfortunate, therefore he prayed for a change and the Lord answered his prayer (1 Chro 4:10). What people call you is not as important as what you believe and call yourself.

Everything around Jephthah pointed him to the fact that he was a bastard who cannot amount to much but his thoughts and believe told him he was a mighty man and a leader, so he started leading worthless men, but because of what he believed about himself, he was able to recruit them into mighty men of war! When his family saw he had increased in value, they beckon to him for help. He made a crazy demand to be their leader and they could not refuse him because of his increased worth. But first, he had to believe before he became! (Judges 11)

I will like to speak on what Jesus said about “if you say to this mountain” and it’s significance but we shall pick it up next week by his grace. God bless you.
