Jamaican-born gospel recording artiste and worship leader, Sadra Madonna Lindsay drops her own version of Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)
Sadra Madonna Lindsay shares the story behind the song saying “I heard this song for the first time in 2013 just before I got married. It was a very delicate time in my life and during that season I had traveled to America with hopes of visiting radio stations to have music played and churches to sing.
“There were many things I didn’t understand but then the Lord spoke to me directly with a scripture out of 2 Peter 1:3 His divine power has given us everything we need for life and for Godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
“I don’t know what the inspiration is behind the original version done by Hillsong, but for me the song reaches soul deep. It caresses my spirit and is one of those songs where the voice of God is evident. The Holy Spirit has also directed me on how to deliver the ministry of this song and for that I am grateful. To the original creators, remain at the feet of our King. He will continue to do great and mighty things through your ministry.” She shared
