– Bibles untouched in devastating church fire at Freedom Ministries in Grandview

A number of bibles have been left untouched after a massive fire in West Virginia, United States of America razed a church building, on Sunday, March 3.

While going through what was left, only ashes and rubble could be found until an untouched Bible was discovered, and then another, and then another.

The discovery by firefighters from the Coal City Fire department has been termed miraculous.

According to a Facebook post shared by the department, the fire at Freedom Ministries Church in Grandview was so hot that at one point they were forced to back out.

The department says everything should have burned to ashes, but not a single bible was touched by the fire.

“Picture this, a building so hot that at one point in time, firefighters had to back out,” the fire department wrote. The department says everything should have burned to ashes, including the Bibles and crosses but not a single Bible was touched by the fire and the crosses suffered only smoke damage.

“In your mind, everything should be burned, ashes. Not a single bible was burned and not a single cross was harmed! Not a single firefighter was hurt,” the post read.

The fire department shared several photos of Bibles still perfectly intact and a nearly-unscathed cross hung against the wall. The church officials have vowed to rebuild the church.
