South African Gospel artiste Dr Tumi has said that he was offered $1 million (R14 Million, N360m) monthly to join an Illuminati society via a Facebook post he shared.

The “Nothing Without You” crooner and surgeon said that the handlers that contacted him claimed to have noticed him and also admitted that he would be of value to the society. Dr Tumi revealed that not only did he reject the cash reward he was offered but also rejected the promise of great fame and influence across the globe, if he joins the society.

“So early today they tried to recruit me to join an Illuminati society. Got told I have been noticed and would be of value. Got promised $1mil a month and great fame and influence across the globe. But we are not the type you can buy with money. wont leave Jesus for fame or fortunes. I am already bought with the highest price when Christ gave his life for me. And it is God who will cause my name to be great. Not a society. Interesting days,” he wrote.

Responding to the post on his page, a Facebook user by the name Danolene Marquess Mafemani said:

“This part👉🏿 “But we are not the type you can buy with money. wont leave Jesus for game and fortunes. I am already bought with the highest price when Christ gave His life for me.”

Dr Tumi thank God for you! The fact that you’re even sharing this with us, it shows that you are of the Light, and you have no business with those of and from the darkness. Thank you. May God keep you and preserve you for us, and for His glory. God bless 🙏🏾”

Another user Juliter Adotei Lincoln said:

“This message has a lot of relevance. It actually means not all gospel musicians around are doing the work of God. Most are just blessed with good voices and the charisma. They sing so sweetly accompanied by the piano and you suddenly start to feel goosebumps all over you instead of feeling the presence of the Holy spirit. May God grant us the spirit of detecting such people.”

Tumelo Mamabolo said:

“This is confirmation enough to say worship is not only about standing in front and singing, its about also defeating the devil in your private space when no else is there. #True worship.”
