-Daniel 11:32
The story is told about a boy who caught a baby elephant and kept it as a pet till it grew up.
Everyday the boy took the elephant for walk and when they return home, he will tie the elephant to a fragile pole, the same pole he has been tying it to, when it was a baby.
The elephant, although all grown up, never for once thought of leaving his post because he didn’t know what he was capable of. In his head he thought; “this is where my master has placed me, this rope restricts me and that’s that.”
One day, another elephant busted into the neighborhood and terrorized the whole neighborhood. It destroyed trees and electricity poles, damaged houses, cars and other structure such that everyone scampered including the tied elephant’s master.
The tied elephant on seeing this, looked at the other elephant and then at himself. He thought; “he is no bigger than I am, I’m sure he’s not stronger than I am either.” He decided to try out his strength and in one swift pull sent the fragile pole holding him down flying in the air.
Note To Self: If I abide in Christ and Christ abide in me, those things I’ve seen Christ do, I will do much more! (Paraphrased)
