“But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.”
– John 14:26
Bishop TD Jakes said there are so many sides to God and He is grateful God did not answer some prayers he prayed at the beginning of his ministry. Had God answered, the answer may have destroyed him because he knows more sides to God now, than he knew then.
One may want to say that he is a minister of God, ain’t he suppose to know everything but all of us are in a learning process and it does not matter who is the sheep or who is the shepherd, the Holy Spirit helps us all to come of age in Christ, what matters is your willingness to obey the prompting.
Listening to His prompting include digging deep into the word and spending time in prayers that develops you, also, literally yield your whole self, everything that makes up your life to Him, amongst others.
The more you listen, the more you grow, the more you grow the more power you have to do great exploits because like TD Jakes, you know your God – through the help of His Spirit that dwells in you. It is the Spirit that helps us grow.
