Gospel Rapper Tru South seems to be enjoying a whole lot of attention these days from new releases, to video shoot. Features to appearances and he has not shown any sign of slowing down soon!
Rather he is waxing stronger by the minute. The rapvangelist was featured on the November edition of Vine Magazine’s Fresh Fire where he was described as the next best thing to happen to gospel music in Nigeria.
“..Its hard to tell that you are listening to a Nigerian rapper and you might be forgiven if you mistake him for lecrae for a minute ” – Vine Magazine.
In similar story, Tru south was also featured on “Friday Night Live” with OAP and Dear Artiste founder 4LaH and Gbenga on Nigeria Info fm. It was explosive as the rapvangelist ministered in rap music droppin several punchlines for over an hour. Fans who participated by calling in and tweeting attested that they were blessed.
He was also amongst the artistes who performed live at the just concluded Best of Lagos event. An initiative of Dear Artist where he performed his recent wave making single “Shey You Know Say” with the live band. The audience called for an encore of his electrifying and spirit lifting performance.
Currently Tru South “Shey You Know Say” video is still enjoying rave reviews online and he has promised it will be hitting the broadcast stations soon.
Tru South has also disclosed to SelahAfrik that he will be releasing a new single by the end of this month titled “Bad Guy No Pay”
