Pastor buys jet, Nigerians throw a fit. So what if these pastors are rich? shouldn’t that encourage you to want to attain that level of victory in Christ?
Chill…
I am not saying material possession is success but it is an added blessing that naturally follows those who “seek ye first the kingdom” [Matthew 6:33] so why do we make so much fuss about the rich and famous lives of our dear pastors?
I don’t get *inserts confuse smiley* …
The Book of 3 John Chapter 1:2 says
“Belove, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
It is God’s will for His children to have these blessings in material possession and enjoy it in good health, if our christian leaders are living that life, we should be happy because their lives are fulfilling the will of God.
Or don’t you love your neighbour as yourself? *inserts confuse smiley* …
What’s even better is that we are part of the beloved spoken of in 3 John 1:2…
The book of John Chapter 1:12 says “As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God” and Galatians 3:29 says “If ye are Christ’s, then ye are seeds of Abraham and joint heirs according to the promises.” Therefore, God’s promise is encompassing and if the Christian leaders can attain the level of good health and great wealth that makes us always want to raise a eyebrow, it is lack of profound knowledge in the wisdom of God to tear them down or think we can’t do the same. What we should do is also build up our faith and begin to manifest that victorious Christian life freely given by the grace of God poured out through His son, Jesus Christ. As Christians, we are supposed to rule this world because we share in the common wealth of heaven… that’s worth more than a million dollar deal!
So next time you see a blessed man of God in his private jet, his sleek ride etc, thank God for him, pray for his ministry because he is only fulfilling the word of God. Also, you need to renew your mindset because it is wrong to group yourself with the crowd and join popular opinion. these are the things people with a poor mindset do. They call themselves “masses” (which has become synonymous with “suffering crowd” in Nigeria) and tear down people who seem to be living better.
God did not restrict the numbers of those who will blessed. He said in Psalm 2:8 “Ask of me, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the uttermost part of the earth for your possession. If God can say this, it is because He has the full knowledge of the life He has given you. The best is yet to be revealed amongst God’s people. Stop stirring up feud against the men of God… just go out and take your rightful place in the system of things.

Truth spoken! We Nigerians don’t have a problem with a footballer or an artiste who buys a jet, why can’t pators do the same? Because they are pastors, they should be poor? :s
Well, God hasn’t made any of us judge and He alone will test everyone’s work… Not really my place to say
