Hope?
Faith?
In what do you find Hope?
In whom do you have Faith?
What gives you the inkling
That beyond the dark days
Beyond the cold nights
The sun will shine
And warmth will come?
What’s the surety of passing through the storm
Breaking forth on the other side?
What does it for you?
What keeps you going?
Hope?
Faith?
In what do you find Hope?
In whom do you have Faith?
Do you know of the One who never fails?
Whom beyond all reasonable doubt Is?
He who does not change because He Is!
It’s that simple
He just Is!
He is a rock in times when all things
Seem to have shifted from their places
When perspective is dislocated
And intellect has reached its limits
If you ask me of hope and faith,
I’d turn to Him.
In His words you’ll find hope,
In Him, your faith will find strength.
