That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him” – Ephesians 1:17

What many people do when they pray is either they are begging God or they are complaining to Him. God does not want us to complain, neither is He holding back the things He has already provided for you.

GOD wants you to have what you desire in Him but you have to be willing to play your part. He isn’t building you to become lazy or complacent therefore, everytime you go through a challenge, more than the end of the matter, God is also interested in the process. He wants to build you to maturity with the process so that haven patiently waited, you can receive the promise.

When Moses saw the burning bush. He closely observed what he saw and when he discovered that the bush wasn’t burning, God told Him he was close enough, now take off your shoes. That is, surrender this situation to Me and worship.

In the same way, when we go through situations in life, God wants us to closely observe the situation. Is the situation consuming you? What does God wants you to know? And where is the light that shows what He has already done concerning the situation? How do we discover all these? By getting into the word.

Two things happen when we get into the word. First, we discover the other things that are peculiar to the situation which God needed us to know. Secondly, we discover the key that will open the exit door out of the situation.

Don’t go into any situation in your life flying blindly like a pilot who has lost communication with the control tower. Get into the word, put it into your heart and confess it with your mouth, that way, it will become easy to worship (rejoice) in hope that you are coming out better and stronger.
