♠♠♠♠ If You Believe Romans 10:9 ♠♠♠♠
“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” — Romans 10:9
The word of the Lord said with the heart man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:10).
Now I want you to broaden your spiritual circumference and see the entirety of the meaning of salvation. It means that when we confess Jesus and believe that God raised Him from death we become saved, as in, part of those that will make it into eternity but here is what most people do not see about salvation.
The verse said “with the mouth, confession is made to salvation”, that means that, I may be a Christian but if my confessions and beliefs does not tally, especially with the will of God concerning any other matter, except for the salvation that makes me heaven bound, that is as far as my salvation experience will go.
It is the same thing Jesus was saying when He said, “If anyone will ‘SAY’ to this mountain… and does not DOUBT in his heart…’ (Mark 11:23)
It was apt that Jesus will use ‘mountain’, which can be referred to as any stumbling block or challenge one may be facing. That means, that the same method with which one is saved from the body of sin and made heaven bound is the same method with which one can move any mountain. In both scenario, what you obtain is salvation, be it for cleansing of sin or for moving a mountain.
So if you confess the mind of Jesus over that situation today and believe in your heart that for the very reason of being delivered from that circumstance, is why Christ died for you so that after the salvation of your soul, you may go on to enjoy salvation in other areas of your life today, God is saying, if you believe this, the matter is settled! Hallelujah!
