According to her, the Chairman of the Chibok community in Abuja, Tsambido Hosea confirmed the reports.
The Nigerian army has also confirmed the report through its Acting Director Army Public Relations Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman saying:
“This is to confirm that one of the abducted Chibok school girls, Falmata Mbalala, was among the rescued persons by our troops at Baale near Damboa.

Similarly, the First lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari presented a cheque of N30,000, 000 to to parents of the chibok girls and N25 million cheque to parents of the Buni Yadi boys murdered by Boko Haram members. The presentation of the cheques was part of her promise that proceeds from the book she launched on “Essentials of Beauty Therapy” would be used to empower parents of the chibok girls and Buni Yadi boys.
