Never be ashamed of not signing a contract that you aren’t comfortable with. The Law is never favourable to sentiments where contracts are signed.
Know what you signed and stick to the T&Cs. Being ignorant will send you straight to prison if the other party is not sentimental.
I drafted a contract with my lawyers for an artiste I was meant to sign and put it on hold when I sensed some foul smell. Because tomorrow, if the artist messes up the court won’t.
Monies spent need to be recouped, there’s no freebies whenever a contract is signed based on monetary gains. The problem is the world is now filled with “Half Talented” folks wanting to “blow” overnight! Follow process & have peace of mind. If all you can gather is $1000 you’ll enjoy it better than the other folk who gathered $1,000,000 fraudulently.
I hope someone had a good crash course on Life Lessons & Business Accumen 2.0 by Wilson Joel.
