Just after his release of the highly inspiring song “Tele” featuring Kenny K’ore; Chinedu Gboof comes out with “Jesus Friend of Sinners” – a highly creative but soul reviving acapella cover of an original song by “Casting Crowns” featuring the Incredible Johnny Drille.

It is heart-touching, heart-ripping, heart-rending… the lyrics convey a message of love for both Saints and Sinners, just as Jesus did. Every beat and harmony was purely done with the mouth.

Gboof gained attention following the release of “Kwasa” which scored a nomination for Best Highlife Video category at the 2010 Nigerian Music Video Awards (NMVA) and Best Gospel Music Video category at the African Gospel Music Awards (AGMA).
