Inspirational Country/Folk music artiste Johnny Drille has been signed on to arguably the biggest record label in Nigeria Mavin Records owned by the prolific producer Don Jazzy.

Don Jazzy announced the signing of Johnny Drille yesterday via his social media welcoming the Benin artiste/producer to his team. Johnny Drille was signed alongside other artistes including rapper POE and DNA Twins.

Don Jazzy tweeted:

“Meet and welcome the super talented @johnnydrille to the SUPREME MAVIN DYNASTY. #MavinActivated.”

The post was accompanied post was by a short documentary about the artiste with an ending phrase, “Mavin Activated.”

Johnny Drille and the other new signee will be joining other Mavin stars including Reekado Banks, Tiwa Savage, Korede Bello and others.

Johnny Drille has enjoyed some media buzz in recent times including being nominated for Headies Awards, featuring on CNN Africa Voices and Juice on Ndani TV. His singles such as “Beautiful Love”, “Love Don’t Lie” and “Wait For Me” remains critically acclaimed.
