Tears are shed and lives are changed at the street corner where George Floyd died while in the custody of police officers in Minneapolis on Memorial Day.

Following the infamous killing of George Floyd by local police late last month in Minneapolis which sparked outrage across the state and nation at large, a number of Christian groups have since turned the site of the incident to place of baptism and healing while also witnessing people giving there lives to Christ.

Groups like Youth With a Mission, Circuit Riders, and Worldwide Outreach for Christ, made it possible for daily services to be held there at 6 p.m., with many lives being transformed. Christophe Ulysse, a 37-year-old black Canadian Christian leader with Youth With a Mission, said, “I came here and I was broken,” he said.

Ulysse, also shared the reason for there actions “We’re going from pain and hatred to healing and hope, There’s this new narrative of the gospel”. he said

“One man who was hopeless overdosed on drugs, left without a pulse, and the next day he found a purpose to his life at the service, A 19-year-old man got his life call as a minister. He signed up to go to Bible school and share the message that radically changed his life. Others have been baptized”. Ulysse shared.

Joel Bomberger, a preacher with Circuit Rider who also hold outdoor services at the memorial site revealed how amazed he was by the massive turn out and the numbers of miracle recorded so far, “There are too many testimonies to recount, They were able to preach to thousands and saw hundreds responding to the Gospel of Jesus, Dozens and dozens of people healed, filled with hope, changed, and born again by the power of Jesus this weekend in Minneapolis!” he revealed

“Just got a text that a deaf ear was just opened by the power of Jesus! Praise God!” Bomberger added.
