Both Facebook and Twitter has taken down the video of a Nigerian born Doctor, and Christian preacher Stella Immanuel, who claimed she has successfully treated over 350 Coronavirus patients using hydroxychloroquine, Zinc and Zithromax.

Dr. Stella Immanuel first made this report public on April 27 in a Twitter post and also showed support for American President Donald Trump who had also made similar remark for the use of chloroquine to treat the virus.

President of the United States of America, Donald Trump during his daily Coronavirus briefing commended the doctor saying it is ‘very impressive.’

Dr. Stella Immanuel had also previously dismissed the use of face masks, while also claiming that alien DNA is used in medical treatments.

When asked about the reports, Dr. Stella Immanuel believes that scientists are developing vaccine for Covid-19 but is actually to keep people from being religious.

Trump claimed that she had previously succeeded in using hydroxychloroquine. He said he thought her voice is  very important right now although he knows nothing about her.

However, the Nigerian Guild of Medical Directors in reaction to Dr. Stella Immanuel’s viral video on the use of hydroxychloroquine for the treatment of Coronavirus has said that Dr. Stella Immanuel’s claims should only be taken as her personal opinion. They were not unsubstantiated.

Nigeria’s Ministry of Information and Nigeria Centre for Disease Control,in a similar message on Tuesday said via Twitter, that the use of hydroxychloroquine is “only limited to clinical trials“.

Facebook, Twitter and YouTube are removing videos associated to Dr. Immanuel’s press conference from their platforms.

Facebook has also taken down the profile of Dr. Immanuel, who started sharing this video.

The video generated more than 13 million views on Facebook alone.

Facebook has said it removed the video due to misinformation about the treatment and cure for COVID-19.

In reaction, Dr. Stella Immanuel has asked Facebook to restore her account or God will shut down their system.

“Hello Facebook put back my profile page and videos up or your computers with start crashing till you do. You are not bigger that God. I promise you. If my page is not back up Facebook will be down in Jesus name,” she wrote on Twitter.
