Bishop Oyedepo, Matthew Ashimolowo grace Tope Alabi 50th birthday celebration
Yoruba Gospel music minister Tope Alabi has been full of nothing but gratitude on her social media wall following her 50th birthday celebration earlier this week.
One of the high points of the celebration was the gracing of the occasion by by Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church, aka Winners Chapel.
Pastor Mathew Ashimolowo of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) in London, was also present at the ceremony, commemorating the Gospel music minister’s golden jubilee.

Prior to the event, Tope Alabi had held a 50-day golden praise to God in anticipation of her birthday. The live mini-concert was attended by Psalmos, Sammie Okposo, Tosin Alao, Bukola Bekes, Woliagba Ayo Ajewole, amongst others.
The talented singer took to her Instagram to thank the men of God for surprising her with their presence at the birthday ceremony.
In the clip shared, Bishop Oyedepo can be seen praying for the singer and her family at her home in the Iju area of Lagos.
Talking about Bishop Oyedepo, Tope Alabi said she could not believe her eyes when she saw the man of God in her house, adding that she was overwhelmed.

“You gave me your word that you would come to my birthday and I thought I was dreaming. Despite your busy schedule sir, you chose to step into my house; you chose to spend hours with us; you chose to take pictures with many of us and I couldn’t believe when I saw you in my home.
“I feel so overwhelmed even now and I know I will keep feeling as such for many years to come. I do not take your presence for granted and I know new testimonies have begun in my home. Your presence is a fulfillment of prophecy that this year is indeed our year of BREAKING LIMITS. I broke more than a billion limits by sitting side by side with you my Daddy in our home on my 50th birthday.
“I appreciate you my father, my Prophet and my Teacher. Your presence yesterday will forever mean so much to me and my family. I can’t stop saying AMEN to these prayers. Thank you Daddy.”
While thanking Pastor Mathew Ashimolowo for gracing Tope Alabi 50th birthday celebration, the singer said it was a big miracle to have hosted the clergy at her home.
