“She’s Amazing” – Nigerian Artiste Davido Hails Mercy Chinwo’s Music

Davido hails Mercy Chinwo, says she’s amazing & her music lifts his soul

Renowned mainstream icon, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has showered praises on Nigerian Gospel music minister, Mercy Chinwo, adding that her music edifies his soul.

Davido, who presumably listened to Mercy Chinwo’s new album “Satisfied,” had taken to his official Twitter page on Sunday morning, January 31 to tweet about the gospel singer in high esteem.

He said he has been playing her songs all morning, while leaving a note that indicated that it was his ritual to listen to the Gospel singer, because it lifts his spirit. He described her as an amazing singer.

“Mercy Chinwo all morning!” He tweeted “She’s amazing !!! Lifts up my soul!! Thank you Jesus”.

Just last week, EeZee Conceptz boss, Eezee Tee, who is Mercy Chinwo’s executive producer, was at Mavin Records villa where he met up with Don Jazzy and Tega. He described the meeting as “a time of fellowship.”

EeZee Tee spoke about the need for the Gospel music to create a bridge that extends to the mainstream rather than segregate the industry.

In response to the tweet as Davido hails Mercy Chinwo, she took a screenshot of the tweet, posted with the caption “Thank You Jesus”, returning all the glory to God.

Last week, Mercy Chinwo hhad taken to her Instagram account to condemn the silhouette challenge going viral on social media where users her posing nude.

She quoted the message translation of Romans 12:2 saying:

“Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.”
