Welcome to another wonderful edition of SelahAfrik Official Top 10 Gospel Weekly, a rating put in place by leading Gospel blog SelahAfrik.

Last week was a very eventful week for the gospel music industry as lots of exciting and soul edifying singles were been released so it is only fair to have an even more competitive rating with new songs like Greatest Lord by Sinach, Mind by Limoblaze, Omo Ologo by Benjiszzy to mention but a few all coming in.

The rating is aimed at acknowledging and spotting top notch Gospel songs from each weekly release and as it seems, gospel artiste all over the country has not been showing any sign of ever slowing down even as the year is just only kicking off, with lots of highly anticipated projects and soul edifying singles been released already.

10. Dabo Williams | The Best

Self proclaimed king of the new school gospel vibe, Dabo Williams popularly referred to as Alter Boy sits firmly at this week’s rating with his new hit single tagged “The Best”.

Alter Boy continues to show off the fun in Christianity song after song and “The Best” is just another awesome example of that awesome feat. Think Christianity is boring and not cool? Alter Boy says otherwise.

Highly rated gospel artiste and “Jubilee” crooner, Benjiszzy Zaakii decided to bless the nation with his all vibe and fun new single tagged “Omo Ologo”.

“Omo Ologo” in Yoruba means ‘The Glorious Child’ or ‘Star Boy/Girl’. Anything that shines and cannot be hidden. This song helps you to mirror yourself as the creator sees you.

6. Favour George | Iwoni Oba

With consistency being one of Mike Abdul’s superpowers, the gospel-fuji maestro delivered a classic on “Baba Ese”. A song of appreciation and total exaltation to the Most High for his mercies and uncommon favors.

Featuring Yoruba Mass Choir, “Baba Ese” means “Father I Thank You” and It is a song of Thanksgiving, gratitude, reputable melody and soul inspiring lyrics.

Multi award winning Gospel legend and worshiper Sammie Okposo claims his spot at the #1 for this week’s rating with “Grace Is Avaliable”.
