Welcome to another wonderful edition of SelahAfrik Official Top 10 Weekly Gospel Chart, a rating put in place by leading Gospel blog SelahAfrik.

We might only be four months into the year but we’ve witness and heard lots of wonderful single already, all making strong case for the song of the year.

This week’s rating features top guns like Mike Abdul, Sinach, Nikki Laoye and more to mention but a few.

Blessing decided to reminds us of the almighty and all sufficient power of Christ and the great sacrifice He made to save the whole of humanity.

9. Nikki Laoye & Tolu | Nothing Without You

Nikki Laoye majestically praises her way back into SelahAfrik top 10 weekly gospel chart following the release of the visual for “Nothing With You”.

“Nothing With You” was initially released in 2018 but following the release of the visual the praise track went up the charting table once again.

“Nothing Without You” is a sweet testimony of how God’s Love and Grace has been our Anchor, Our Help, Our Shield cos “We are Nothing Without His Love and Grace to Us all”.

8. Munachi | Calvary

AfroGospel artiste Munachi sets the bar even higher with this banging conscious single titled Calvary, featuring Alex Amos.

“Calvary” is a love song, a song that successfully bridge the “vibe-gap” between gospel message passed and the threading style of urban music while still not deviating from the message needed to be passed across.

It speaks of the love and sacrifice of Jesus. It is also a reminder of the victories and possibilities that the death of Jesus on the Cross and the resurrection afford us.

7. Kelvin Benard | Ebube Dike

Abuja-based gospel artiste, Kelvin Benard is at number 7 with Ebube Dike.

“Ebube Dike” is a song which eulogizes God in all his power, awesomeness and wonder. It speaks of the limitlessness of God. It also describes the beauty of his majesty.

Kelvin made worship soo seamless and easy with this wonderful piece, a song that was well complimented by his powerful vocals and the directness of the message been passed.

Psalmos continues to touch lives and bless souls what looks like her worship masterpiece tagged “Melody In My Heart”.

It has a contemporary feel while still giving you that home melody fused with the talking drums

Coming for the third week is veteran gospel artiste and man of God, Nathaniel Bassey retains top spot at this week’s Selah top 10 with his praise & worship hit single titled Hallelujah Challenge Praise Medley.

A song of worship that easily draws one into the presence of the Most High not to mention Nathaniel Bassey’s true mastery of the Trumpet that was on full display.
