Nigerian multi-talented gospel singer-songwriter Minister King Michael whose real name is Michael Asimea James returns with his first body of work in three years.

The “Heavenly Altar Of Praise (Vol. 1)” is a solid Christian Gospel album packed with eight amazing tracks and which arrives after “I Believe” in 2014 and “Altar of Praise” in 2018.

Crediting what he refers to as a “raw” encounter with God on the 30th of June, 2014, for his burning desire and zeal for pushing kingdom ventures, Minister Michael has continued to push God’s kingdom and has never looked back.

He says his latest project “Heavenly Altar Of Praise (Volume 1)” is an album from God and it serves as a reminder to men that God is the highest of all and always worthy of our praise.

It is a solid project with a variety of genres and has enough content and gravy to be enjoyed by every music lover.

Track 1: The album opener “Take Dominion” is a soothing track with smooth percussions as King Michael interchanges verses with an amazing female voice singing about God’s mandate to man to take dominion over all.

Track 2: “You Are Mighty” ushered in by some sweet keys is a sweet worship tune and is bound to get you lifting your hands in worship.

Track 3: “You Did It All” produced by seasoned producer SkyTimz is a praise dance tune.

Track 4: “Most High God” is a mid-tempo praise tune with a call and response verse. A suggestive tune of late 90’s and early 2000’s popular worship songs.

Track 5: “David Dance” is another mid-tempo tune but this time it is closed with some groovy rhythms to make you move your feet in God’s presence like the title as David danced.

Track 6: “Honour and Glory” is a reggae tune which also shows how assorted the sounds on the album are. There is something for every listener on the project which is a variety of genres.

Track 7: “Rock of Ages” kicks off with a xylophone-sounding instrument and some sweet chants. The production sounds like something Johnny Drille would do and is a beautiful soothing tune.

Track 8: “Lamb of God” tune produced by SkyTimz wraps up the project and this time it is tied with military-type drums and rock guitars. Even though the singer and his background vocals appear relaxed, the song still bangs. The rock guitar really stands out and makes you wish the song was placed higher than the last track on the project.
