Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi on Friday attended the 70th annual convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God for the first time.
The 70th Convention, which commenced earlier in the week, is taking place at The Redemption City, formerly known as Redemption Camp, in Mowe, Ogun State.
The announcer, while welcoming Obi to the convention on Friday, said, “We welcome to the Redemption Camp for the first time Mr Peter Obi.”
The congregation cheered him with loud applauds as the announcer introduced him.

Recall that Peter Obi visited the Dunamis International Gospel Centre vigil in Abuja, on the 29th of July.
Speaking in a tweet on his verified Twitter handle, Peter Obi said he was humbled by the warm welcome he received at the event.
“Sharing moments of true worship last night with a great congregation at the RCCG Convention was a special experience of joy, strength and love for me,” he wrote.
“I was humbled by the warm welcome, but above all, I am grateful for the opportunity to be in the midst of the brethren.”
