2022 was definitely a very busy year for artistes in the MinDustry while it also served as a positive eye-opener for fans who might have had their reservations about the genre, With many acts getting their well earned recognition in not only the country but internationally.

Red hot multi-award winning gospel artiste and songwriter, Dunsin Oyekan books his spot on the chart with his first single of 2022 “Always God”

“Always God” is a special love song to The Maker for his love and consistency towards us. The song was initially recorded in July of 2021 as he was preparing songs for his fourth studio album.

7. Limoblaze | Jireh | Feat. Lecrae

At this point, it is no longer a surprise seeing Limoblaze on any gospel chart top list as his consistency and “cool” way of the delivery of the gospel is second to none.

Limo’s monster hit single “Jireh” which featured new label boss Lecrae, was a sensation in 2022 and even went as far as making it’s entry at the number 48 on US Billboard Afrobeat Songs Chart.

The Afrogospel artiste is certainly here to stay and more exciting project would be expected of him in 2023.

Spaghetti Records CEO and eminent Gospel music minister, Mike Abdul takes the number 6 with “Halleluyah Always”.

Directed by Leyoneethe song is off Mike Abdul’s latest fifth studio album. The song also features renowned Gospel music minister, Ada Ehi.

5. KS Bloom | C’est Dieu | Feat. Chidinma

Ivorian act KS Bloom takes the number 5 spot with the remix of his global hit single “C’est Dieu”. 

Teaming up with EeZee Conceptz Global artiste, Gospel music minister Chidinma, the already massive song went on to do even more greater numbers accumulating over 18M views on YouTube since its’s release.

“C’est Dieu” literally translates “It Is God”. It is a song of acknowledgement and gratitude.

Amassing over 5.3 million views on Youtube and going viral on Tiktok in just months since it’s release, Kumana Papa by Grace Lokwa just had to make this list.

The Congolese and Nigerian blend on the song is unmatched and fans from all over Africa have taken to social media to vibe to it.
