The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) are prepared to build an aircraft hangar at the Lagos airport.

The RCCG previously made use of the Dominion Aviation Center, which houses the hangar of Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel International, for parking its aircraft, before finalizing their plans to build an hangar at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport.

It would interest you to know that aircraft hangars are very essential for organizations with private jets, ensuring the long-term safety and cost-effective maintenance of the aircraft.

You’d recall that for some years back, many organizations gave churches with aircraft a huge challenge before the winners chapel owned their personal hangar in 2010.

Although in 2023, the hangar owned by Winners chapel was threatened to get demolished within 2 weeks by the former Minister of Aviation.

Presently, there appears to be a reconsideration by the government, with concerns about the associated costs, potential litigation, and compensation arising from such demolition and with the denomination also prepared to build their hangar.

Several other private organization have expressed their relief as they won’t be facing any form of threat towards their hangar alone and that a church is involved as is the case in this particular instance.
