-Roberto Firmino Ordained Pastor In Brazil With His Wife Larissa
World renowned football player and ex Liverpool FC legend, Roberto Firmino & Wife, Larissa, ordained as an evangelical pastor at the church they founded three years ago in his native home in Brazil.
The dedication ceremony took place last Sunday in Firmino’s hometown of Maceio, Brazil.
The champions league winner initially got baptized in 2020 and as seen not looked back on his Christian journey.
Sharing his excitement, he shared in part; “Since our first encounter with Christ, a desire burned in our hearts. We want people to feel this love that reached us. Now we have another desire and responsibility: to become pastors on behalf of God.”

“Today we are totally flabbergasted when we see the size of God’s mercy upon us. He really picks the unlikely! Thank You Jesus,” Firmino shared.
He also extended his gratitude to pastor Jairo and Keila for their belief and encouragement in his spiritual journey.
Firmino enjoyed a prolific career at Liverpool from 2015 to 2023, during which he secured seven major titles, including the 2019/20 Premier League and the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League.
