-American Pastor Regains Freedom In South Africa After Shoot-Out
An American pastor, who was abducted at gunpoint during a sermon last week in South Africa, regains freedom after a shoot-out.
According to reports, it was stated that the pastor was freed after a dramatic police operation that left three suspects dead.
The pastor, Josh Sullivan, was said to have been delivering a sermon at the Fellowship Baptist Church, when armed men stormed the church and kidnapped him.

According to the police, the suspects tried to flee in a vehicle as they approached, opening fire on the officers.
In the ensuing shoot-out, the three suspects were fatally wounded and Sullivan was rescued, miraculously unharmed, from the same vehicle.

Sullivan is currently under medical observation and is expected to be reunited with his family soon.
The pastor arrived in South Africa with his family from Tennessee in November 2018, according to his personal website.
