-Tattoos Are Not Sinful – Pastor Abel Damina Says
Nigerian pastor, Abel Damina, founder of Power City International Ministry, has reignited a debate on tattoos and Christianity.
According to Damina, tattoos are not sinful as long as they glorify God.
He emphasized that the Old Testament prohibition on tattoos is no longer applicable under the New Testament, citing Jesus’ teachings that abolished the law.

Speaking in as a guest in a recent episode of the 234 Mzansi Podcast co-hosted by Nedu Wozabia, he said;
“In the Old Testament, tattoos were prohibited because they say you shouldn’t draw marks on your body. But in the New Testament, Jesus has abolished that law.
“So, if you want to have a tattoo, God is not against it. It’s your body. But make sure what you are putting there honours God and has meaning.”
