– Franklin Graham Event – Thousands Turn To Jesus Christ
A massive Christian gathering led by evangelist Franklin Graham drew an estimated 90,000 people, as thousands responded to the message of faith and hope during a large-scale evangelistic event that organizers say marked one of the biggest Christian outreaches in the region.
The outreach was held in the country’s National Stadium, which the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) reports was packed from wall to wall for two nights straight on Saturday and Sunday.
Franklin Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and son of the late evangelist Billy Graham, delivered a sermon centered on repentance, forgiveness, and the transforming power of faith in Jesus Christ.
