Joe Odumakin, Ngozi Ezeonu, Chioma Akpotha, Others Makes 9jaMentors “Nigerians Worthy of Emulation” List

9ja9jaMentors™, a fast-rising Lagos-based social enterprise set up to inspire patriotism among young Nigerians between the age bracket of 9 years and 39 years, has released the full list of “Nigerians Worthy of Emulation”.

This year’s list of “Nigerians Worthy of Emulation” consists of respectable individuals who have been contributing to the wellbeing of our nation across board regardless of the struggles and challenges they face daily. According to the team lead of 9jaMentors™ Project, Mr. Gson Ebuka, “Our focus is to raise the standard for moral consciousness within our nation and to also showcase respectable individuals whose lifestyle can inspire our children to live right and in a patriotic manner.”

Every year since 2014, corporate and professional lives of most Nigerians have been examined through the spectrum of Diligence, Honesty, Trust, Hardwork and, most especially, Patriotism. Nominees are carefully selected across the different sectors including:-Education, Entertainment, Banking,Social Enterprise, activism, Politics, Media, Agriculture, religion and so on.These individuals are not selected based on popular voting or social media followership rather on the high level of dedication,impact their lifestyles make on the development of our nation within the time frame of at least 15years.

The 2016 nominees include Dr Joe Odumakin, Chief[Mrs] Ngozi Ezeonu, Mrs Chioma Akpotha, Mr Obi Asika, Mrs Morayo Brown-Afolabi, Mr Victor Gotebve, Dr Ameyo Adadevoh, Mr Dayo Isreal and Mrs Uche Ezeamaka, among others. Previous winners include Chief Dr Dele Momodu, Dr Raphael James, to mention but a few. All 2016 nominees will be given their honourary award in the occasion of 9jaMentors conference to be held at Yaba School of technology, Lagos on the 8th October of 2016. Time:10am.

“We are very happy with the quality of sacrifice that our nominees have been able to make for Nigeria in over 15years of their careers. And we do hope that our young people can learn a thing or two from their lifestyles and become more patriotic,” added Mr. Gson Ebuka.
