Kenny K’ore and Nathaniel Bassey do not only share the desire of being like Jesus together, they also share passion where soul winning is concerned.
Staying true to the lyrics of their song, the two music ministers spent some time with a not-so-popular group. On Saturday the 18th of January, 2014, the duo of the highly spiritual single “Like Jesus” visited Kirikiri prison alongside other believers. Kenny Kore shares the experience while relating it to a lesson of mind imprisonment. Kenny said:
“We were at Kirikiri State Maximum Prison yesterday, with Nathaniel Bassey and several other believers. We had what one of my friends, elated, called ‘the real experience!’
Hanging out with prison inmates naturally inspires meditation; as I begin to remember Paul, who wrote a considerable portion of the letters to the churches while in prison.
John Wycliffe, Mandela, John the beloved, Peter, Bunyan, Joseph, several others, and our Lord Jesus Christ; men have changed the world from prison.
The greatest prison is not the incarceration of the body, it is the lock up of the mind.
Some people are in prison but not imprisoned while several people are free today, but there mind is in Jail.
ARE YOU FREE OR IN JAIL???, don’t be too quick to answer that question…balance your life against the Bible. It is one mirror that won’t lie to you.”
