Right around the time Bouqui dropped her first album and became the first female Gospel rapper to release an album in Nigeria, she relieved herself of her day job on Eko 89.75fm – an on-air personality. Bouqui had since launched and maintained a very successful music career releasing several albums and touring thde world with the good news message.
However, on returning to the country (Nigeria) after her 2013 US Tour, Bouqui had an interview with Vanguard where she revealed she has been considering going back to broadcasting. Bouqui said she has been having several offers to host radio shows in the States which has left her at cross roads and needs time to make the future decision.
Bouqui said:
I am still thinking of going back to broadcasting. I had some openings in America to be presenting a radio programme, but I don’t know if I am going to take up the offer.
Right now, I am at a major decision junction. I need to make some serious decisions that will affect the rest of my life. I need to do it prayerfully and consciously.
