Ese Oke Owoferia a.k.a. “Esselyte” started her music career as a teenager together with her Dad’s younger brother, Evang. James Oforhue (JP), a legend in the Urhobo/Isoko music industry under whom she gained lots of musical exposure and experience. Currently, she has three music albums to her credit and in one of her songs; she featured the renowned Nigerian rapper, Ruggedman – a work that had its video shot by the highly revered Akin Alabi.
She is a passionate lover of Jesus Christ and she believes strongly in the Nigerian and African project – ideologies which she often expresses in her songs as a matter of exclusive trademark.
