WAOMM, a global organisation geared towards supporting, empowering and encouraging African women in music ministry worldwide, launched in Scotland with a bang on Saturday 07 March 2015 with a sumptuous WOW breakfast for the ladies at the prestigious DoubleTree By Hilton located in Aberdeen city centre.
This was followed by an explosive Women of Worship (WOW) night of worship at The Junction Church. Isabella Ogo-Uzodike, the founding president and visioneer behind WAOMM, had this to say about the successful Scotland inauguration.
“It was indeed a blessed and life-transforming experience for a lot of the ladies who attended the events. We are very grateful to God for using the WAOMM platform to encourage and uplift our women in music ministry. Our Scotland National Coordinator, Eloho Efemuai worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the event so we owe her a big ‘thank you’. All the ladies were very selfless, enthusiastic and willing to use their gifts to bless others and that’s very commendable. Our next launch is in Canada. Our National Coordinator in Canada, Priscilla Olubunmi-Awoseyi has mobilised her team to start preparing for our big launch in Canada in October this year. We give God all the glory”
