Richest black woman and oil magnate Folorunsho Alakija was at an event over the weekend where she spoke about singers who started off in the church.
She opined that if an artiste started off his/her career in church, it is important that such artiste use the gift to serve God, even if such artiste does not sing gospel music, he/she should still use the gift in the house of God.
Similarly, she was also at The African Young Entrepreneurs (A.Y.E) 2015 where she shared her wealth of experience with the young and vibrant future entrepreneurs present at the Oriental hotel banquet hall, Lagos on Saturday June 6, 2015.
In January 2015, Mrs Folorunsho Alakija displaced Oprah Winfrey to become the richest black woman with a net worth of $3.3 billion, knocking off Oprah’s $3 billion net worth.
