— WAOMM held its Step Up & Stand Out seminar alongside a concert
— Inauguration of the Nigerian Chapter of WAOMM
Women of African Origin in Music Ministry (WAOMM) held its Lagos Seminar and concert on Saturday, the 12th of March, at NECA Events Centre, Plot A2, Hakeem Balogun Street, CBD, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
The 3-hour seminar tagged ‘Step Up & Stand Out’ was facilitated by a number of seasoned music industry professionals including Wilson Joel, Deji Irawo, Segun Obe, Nikki Laoye, Onos Ariyo & Isabella.
The event was also used to inaugurate the Nigerian chapter of the worldwide body that makes up WAOMM as headed by Isabella, with music minister, Onos Ariyo heading the Nigerian chapter.
Ministering at the concert tagged ‘Women of Worship’ included Chee, Blerisa, Toluwanimee, Isabella, Ayo Vincent, Onos, Efe Nathan, Enkay, Joan Paul amongst others.
Kenyan Gospel icon Emmy Kosgei was present and also ministered at the concert, so was David’s Christian Centre pastor and wife of the senior pastor, Mildred Okonkwo.
