Bassey Ayi (Baszey) is set to become the latest household name on the music scene in Nigeria. A native of Cross-River state, Baszey comes from a rich musical background which includes a deep dive into classical music in the early 2000s and a fairly lengthy career as a music instructor and live performer.
Today, he is a contemporary artiste who fuses elements of RnB, Rock and Afro-Pop into his music. His debut single titled “Higher” is a gospel song that tells the story of God’s grace and mercy, the first track to be released off his upcoming EP.
