– Mike Abdul gets ordained as chaplain
Nigerian Gospel artist and Spaghetti Records CEO, Mike Abdul has been ordained as chaplain of his church.
The renown Gospel artist who has either written, contributed to or sang in the following hits Igwe, Kene Jesu, Morire, Atobiju, So Good and many more shared photos from the ordination on his Instagram account.
Mike Abdul, while celebrating the ordination also acknowledges the responsibility that comes with the position.
“Now Reverend Chaplain Mike Abdul,” he captioned. “More than the title, i feel a sense of responsibility .Thank you Jesus, i hope i make you proud.”
This calls to mind the message of Jesus Christ while His disciples tussled for leadership. Jesus told them:
“You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their superiors exercise authority overthem. 26It shall not be this way among you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant.”
The Urban/Fuji Gospel artiste reflected this perfectly with his caption stressing that leadership should be for service and not ceremonial.
