Presiding Bishop of the megachurch Faith Tabernacle (aka Winners Chapel), Bishop David Oyedepo has responded to Forbes magazine’s list of richest pastor in the world. Bishop Oyedepo highlighted where the magazine said he is worth $150M.
Forbes which is a leading source for reliable news and updated analysis on investing and networth, Sometime last year, evaluated the net-worth of the clergyman and estimated him to worth around $150 million.
Responding to the report, Bishop Oyedepo said he is worth more than the specified amount according to the scripture.
”Some fellow said I was worth $150 million, I said that is an insult. That is an insult. I am worth Philipians 4: 19 which says My God shall supply all my needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. $150 million is too small. That can’t be”
Bishop Oyedepo can not only boast of owning two universities in Nigeria, Covenant University and Landmark University but also a fleet of private jets. His Faith Tabernacle, a 50,000-seat church auditorium, is reported to be the largest church auditorium in the world by the Guinness Book of Records to mention but a few things.
