One of Nigeria’s foremost and creative mind in the Gospel music industry, GAMiE have moved to speak on the rise in drug and substance abuse in the country.
The increase in drug and substance abuse in the country is becoming alarming and a thing to worry about, following this recent development Gospel rapper GAMiE has decided to share his own opinion and view on the matter in a message that he tagged “Substance Abuse (Message To Science Students)”.
“Drug abuse is at an all time high among our youths today. A recent BBC documentary on drug abuse in Northern Nigeria shows the alarming rate of drug abuse among the youths”.
“Another video also surfaced on Instagram showing a little girl smoking while being encouraged by an adult male. Thanks to the intervention of kind hearted Nigerians in rescuing the girl in the video along with other girls about the same age.
“We are all affected one way or another, directly or indirectly and so we must ask ourselves if we are part of the problem or the solution.
“You have probably heard the quote ‘Evil prevails when good men do nothing’ Edmund Burke.”
